Inspiring the next generation with Frances & John Sorrell

The future of our industry depends on nurturing young, diverse talent, attracting and inspiring the design leaders of tomorrow. In an era marked by increasing tuition fees and a decline in students choosing creative subjects at GCSE, how do we ignite the passion for a career in design in a diverse pool of young people?

It’s our responsibility to inspire and cultivate the next generation of creative minds – as the leaders of today, are you playing your part?

Join us online for an hour at 12pm BST on 28 September as we’re joined by Lady Frances and Sir John Sorrell. Pioneers in inspiring creativity in young people by setting up The Sorrell Foundation in 1999, Frances and John will discuss how we can empower young talent and nurture their creative potential.

In conversation with Deborah Dawton, Chief Executive of the DBA, Frances and John will share the multitude of initiatives they have launched at the Sorrell Foundation that has inspired and nurtured over 100,000 young people over the last 24 years. We’ll explore how we can all carry on this legacy in our day-to-day work, including our support and involvement in the now iconic National Saturday Clubs.

Join us for an inspirational look at how you can actively contribute to securing the creative talent that businesses need today and tomorrow. Book your place here.
